We have two dedicated exhibition galleries with a total floor space of 270 square metres and a range of other facilities including a café, performance space, artist-in-residence studio, arts education work spaces, a meeting room and hot desks. Main Gallery
The large main gallery offers vast space for events, exhibitions and installations by national / international artists, with natural light and broad expanses of white walls.

Café
A dynamic contemporary vista onto the city streets featuring an original commissioned artwork by Hew Locke and an eclectic menu of fusion cuisine. Due to open late Summer 2008.
Mezzanine Gallery
Overlooking the main exhibition space offering natural light or projection - the perfect location for smaller exhibitions and events.

Central Gallery
This Gallery is situated in the transitional area between the ground floor and the Performance Space, and features the best of Nottingham-based artists, educational and community groups.
Learning Room
A brightly lit and purpose-built workshop space available for practical creative sessions with artists, community events and workshops.
Performance Space
An inspiring sixty-seater space for rehearsal and performance equipped with raked seating (optional), mirrors, lighting and sound facilities and a sprung dance floor.

Artist Studio
A brightly lit contemporary studio space for artists to take up residence at NAE to try out new ideas and respond creatively to the space.
Meeting Room
Flooded with natural light, this is an ideal space for creative thinking and the perfect location for your away days and meetings.
New Art Exchange
A landmark building with landmark facilities on your doorstep. From a function in the foyer to an event in the entire building, why not animate NAE with your activities or experience the range of activities we have on offer.
