Anthony Jadunath: Red

Anthony Jadunath’s artwork has evolved radically over a number of years. His work reflects personal experiences and resonates with larger cultural issues, for example, the murder of Stephen Lawrence and the effect this has had on the wider Black community.

Red is the dominant feature of work in this exhibition, for the artist it symbolises anger at the way he has been treated over the years. Jadunath’s paintings and sculptures are made up entirely of found objects, re-contextualised and revitalised by his creative palette. The artist is an inspiration as a person who creates work against all the odds.
