Our café is located on the ground floor offering snacks, hot and cold refreshments, a fine range of authentic South Asian, African, and English Dishes, all cooked in house as well as a range of seasonal specials.
We also offer speciality coffees from a unique blend of plantation beans, a fully licensed bar serving beers from three continents, a variety of cakes and pastries and a warm and friendly welcome. Check out dishes related to our current exhibition, or our staff inspired menu with a variety of rolls and paninis with a range of new fillings, like 'The Skinder' - Tuna, mayo roll with mixed baby leaves and red onion (for people in a hurry!)
All of this just a minute's walk from The Forest tram stop. So whether you fancy a tasty lunch or are looking to meet a few friends for coffee, pop in and pull up a chair.

Public Art in NAE’s Café - Hew Locke, Forest Suite, 2008
To celebrate opening and champion our place in the city and community, NAE commissioned internationally acclaimed artist, Hew Locke, to install work within the fabric of the building. Locke created a Nottingham photography-based sculptural installation for NAE’s café ceiling.
